Brighton Town Hall is dedicated.

December 30, 1841

Architect: Granville Fuller. Designed in the Greek Revival style by the local architect, it is located at today’s 327 Washington Street. After the town’s annexation to Boston, the building serves as Brighton police headquarters, and the Brighton District Court House. Seriously damaged by fire on March 4, 1975, the building is torn down and replaced by a new building in 1976.*
